The Mississippi Regional Housing Authority No. VI is seeking qualified applicants to fill the
position of Deputy Executive Director. The Deputy Executive Director shall assist the Executive
Director in planning, directing, managing and overseeing the general activities and operations of
the Authority. Additionally, the Deputy Executive Director shall serve as liaison in representing
and interpreting program goals and objectives with outside agencies.
MRHA VI, serving the nine central Mississippi counties, administers the Section 8 Housing
Assistance Voucher Program under contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD), serves as RAD contract administrator, and develop and manage
affordable housing properties.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent
and at least 5 years of significant upper-level management experience in public housing, and/or
housing related field or a comparable industry.

Salary range is between $90,000 – $120,000, plus an excellent benefits package. Applicants
must have comprehensive knowledge of public/affordable housing and must hold a PHM
certification or attain certification within six months of hire.
