All Public Housing residents can make a work order request by calling the Maintenance Work Order Number at 601-714-3955 during normal business hours Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
After 4:30 PM Monday – Friday, weekends, holidays and after-hours emergencies, call 601-850-6021. On-Call maintenance staff will respond to requests. For emergencies such as fire, floods, or criminal activity, please dial 9-1-1 immediately.
When requesting a work order, please provide the necessary information such as address, a description of the work required, permission to enter, and phone number. If repairs are needed MRHA6 may initiate a work order.
Maintenance will be called out after normal business hours and on weekends for the following items only:
- Gas Leaks
- Exposed electrical wires
- Broken water lines
- Clogged sewage lines
- Natural disasters
- Clogged bathrub
- Smoke alarms not working/beeping
- Window pane broken/busted out
- ***Air conditioner not working
- No power in unit
- Outlets sparking fire
- Unit flooding
- Clogged commode (units) with only one)
- Major roof leaks
- Broken lock on entrance doors
- Water heater busted/flooding or leaking
- Air conditioner clooged/leaking
- ***Heater not working
***This will depend on the current temperature at the time the work order is reported and future weather outlook for air conditioners and heaters.
